GoPro was founded in October 2002 by Nicholas Woodman. This innovation originally emerged in 2001 when Woodman tethered an already made camera to a wrist strap and experimented with it while surfing. GoPro is a company that sells high quality cameras that can be mounted on almost anything to capture exciting moments.

Moreover, the recent built in Wi-Fi feature allows users to control the camera from a distance of 180m by using the Wi-Fi remote or the GoPro application from smartphones.

In the past 10 years, the company has generated approximately US600 million in annual sales. With a consumer base of mostly expert video producers and professional athletes, their products can be sold internationally via professional sports retailers, Best Buy, and at GoPro.com. They sell many convenient products but their top two cameras are the HERO3 and HERO3+, which can be bought separately or in sets with accessories or mounts according to their specific usage.
